Considering ChatGPT and other regenerative AI technologies that get released on a daily basis, the world has only just caught a glimpse of the potency of AI particularly in terms of its ability to transform human civilization for the better. My drive to be involved in shaping this technology has come from my desire to be informed and equipped to influence technical and policy decisions that would ensure that the benefits of this technology is maximized and the disadvantages and unintended consequences, as typical of any technology, is all but eliminated.
